This week, we welcomed a high-ranking delegation from China. The visit focused on international economic cooperation, particularly in cooperation with the Sino-German Industry Park (SGIP) – a German-Chinese industrial park that connects companies from both countries and promotes economic exchange.
The guests included high-ranking representatives from politics and business:
- The Vice Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Representative Office
- The Mayor of Jintan Municipality, Changzhou City
- The Director of the Jiangsu Jintan Economic Development Zone Management Committee
- The Vice Director of the SGIP
- The head of the SGIP department
New perspectives through global networking
In view of the current economic developments in Europe, one topic in particular took center stage: the strategic relocation of production capacities for the Asian market. The dialogue with our Chinese guests opened up exciting perspectives and showed how important close international cooperation is in a globalized economy.
The targeted development of new production sites can not only increase efficiency and innovative strength, but also facilitate access to high-growth markets. Valuable insights were gained and potential synergies for future collaboration identified through the exchange with SGIP representatives.
